Proximel® Foam Dressing is a five-layer silicone foam dressing to ensure gentleness on skin to avoid irritation and promote wound healing. Can be lifted without disrupting epidermal cells or risk of compromising adhesiveness and leakage. Reduces in-growth by small perforations within the absorptive pad. Foam layer prevents maceration of the skin by evenly distributing fluid. Waterproof material that supports high moisture vapor transmission rate (MVTR) and works as a barrier against bacteria. Product is single use only.
